The use of pesticides and fertilizers have   detrimental effects on the productivity of the land. In an attempt to prevent   the degradation of soil fertility and to save the environment, infolets were   sent to large number of farmers across 5700 key villages of Maharashtra. The   drive has received tremendous response.
