Change is in progress. The young generation   farmers seek information and knowledge about several developments that take   place in farm inputs, marketability and value creation, so that they can enhance   their returns from the farming. In a direction to help the farmers to fulfill   their expectations, Kisan exhibition – Indias largest progressive farmer   exhibition is organized every year which addresses a gathering of around 1.2   lakh farmers. The conventional way of media to reach them proved to be a   failure. Therefore to make the communication about the exhibition reachable to   the prospective visitors, rural relations, as a logistic partner of the   organizers, has been devising several non-conventional means and approaches for   the past several years to enhance the footfalls of prospective farmers. rural   relations village developersTM visit the agri input shops and communicate to   progressive farmers about these exhibitions through letters. Further to that,   they extend an invitation in the form of a card and insist them to visit the exhibition so as to enhance their knowledge on various matters relating to agriculture.
